Ocala, FL: Luke McLaughlin rode the stallion, W H Top Gun (*Gun Smoke X Ballywhim Candace), to a first place showing in Training Level Test 4 at a recent Ocala Horse Park Schooling Show. He received an excellent 70+% score. The pair will make their First Level debut in two weeks, also at the Ocala Horse Park. Luke started out riding warmbloods for Valhalla Farm but now rides Connemaras almost exclusively. Luke loves the Connemaras for their good nature and trainability and thinks they can be every bit as competitive in dressage as the warmbloods.

W.H. Top Gun (* Gun Smoke X Ballywhim Candace [by Dallen McMor]), owned by Jim and Nancy Kilcrease, was the Champion Stallion and the Champion Connemara in hand at the 2007 ACPS Region IV Connemara Pony Show in Canterbury, FL.
Top Gun also won the Mountain and Moorland Class and the Open Pony Championship!  I think you could say the judge liked him!!   (6/07)
