May 2016 Hideaway Farm Horse Show

Great time at the Hideaway Farm show last weekend (5/7/16). This was the first ever horse show for my granddaughter, Sky, and the second show (the first trot class) for my granddaughter, Lou.
They both rode my Connemara, Balmullo's Beacon. Breezy rode another Connemara, Shade.

Sky was in her first ever show! The first class was lead-line.

We learned that Sky needs to practice asking her pony to back up.

This was only about This was only the 3rd time that Bug had ever ridden a horse by herself (i.e. no lead-line)!

We also learned that Sky needs to learn how to circle to move away from slower horses in front of her LOL :-)

What a wonderful first show for Sky!!

Lou earned 4th in walk ground rails and trot ground rails:-)

Lou did a great job in the trot classes and learned that the pattern of the course is kind of important to remember LOL
